Prayer Flags
Tibetan prayer flags are colorful cloth flags printed with mantras, prayers, and sacred symbols. Traditionally hung outdoors, they are used to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. As the wind passes over the flags, the blessings are believed to be carried into the world.
Each color represents an element and direction: Blue – Sky / Space White – Air / Wind Red – Fire Green – Water Yellow – Earth Together, they symbolize balance and harmony in nature and the self.
Hang them in high, open spaces (rooftops, gardens, mountains, balconies). They are traditionally hung from left to right in the correct color order (blue - white - red - green - yellow). Avoid placing them directly on the ground or in disrespectful locations.
Not necessarily. They are considered sacred once hung with pure intention. However, some people choose to have them blessed by monks before hanging.
Lungta (Wind Horse): Most common, with mantras and horse symbol Dharma Flags: Printed with images of deities or teachings Vertical Flags (Darchor): Tall flags mounted on poles, often outside temples
Yes, while traditionally outdoors, prayer flags can also be hung in meditation rooms, yoga spaces, or personal altars, especially if outdoor space isn't available.
It is a sign they’ve completed their spiritual work. You can burn them respectfully or leave them in a natural place (e.g., tie the remnants to a tree or shrine). Never throw them in the trash.
Yes. We offer hand-printed flags on cotton or Lokta paper, often made by Tibetan refugee communities in Nepal. Please check product descriptions for details.
Singing Bowl
A singing bowl is a metal or crystal bowl that produces sound and vibration when struck or played around the rim. It’s traditionally used for meditation, sound healing, yoga, rituals, and space clearing.
Hand-hammered bowls: Made by artisans, each unique in tone and texture. Cast bowls: Molded for uniform shape, more affordable, consistent tone. Etched/Decorative bowls: Feature engravings like mantras or symbols. Crystal singing bowls: Made from quartz crystal, produce very pure tones.
Handmade bowls are traditionally hand-hammered by artisans from a metal sheet. They produce rich, layered sound with deep resonance and spiritual energy. Cast bowls are made by pouring molten metal into a mold. They are often smoother, cheaper, and mass-produced with more uniform tones but less depth.
Handmade bowls show subtle irregularities and visible hammer marks. Their shape may be slightly imperfect, but they offer warmer, more complex vibrations. Cast bowls are more uniform in shape and finish.
Brass is a mix of copper and zinc. It’s common in decorative or entry-level bowls and tends to produce brighter, lighter sound. Bronze is a mix of copper and tin. It’s more traditional, heavier, and known for producing deeper, richer, and longer-lasting tones — ideal for meditation and sound therapy.
Yes. Handmade bowls often have more complex, warmer tones and spiritual depth. Cast or machine-made bowls are more affordable and visually consistent but may lack richness in sound.
Small (3"–5"): Great for travel, personal use, short meditations. Medium (6"–8"): Balanced for meditation, yoga, and sound baths. Large (9"+): Ideal for healing, deep resonance, professional sound work.

Prayer Beads Japa Mala
A Japa Mala is a string of prayer beads traditionally used in Hinduism, Buddhism, and other spiritual practices for mantra repetition (japa), meditation, and breath awareness.
A full mala typically contains 108 beads, plus one larger guru bead. Smaller wrist malas may have 27 or 54 beads, which are divisions of 108.
Rudraksha (associated with Shiva) Tulsi (sacred to Vishnu) Sandalwood (calming energy) Bodhi Seed (symbol of enlightenment) Gemstones (e.g., amethyst, rose quartz) for healing Bone, lotus seed, or wood for traditional or symbolic use
Malas help keep count during mantra chanting, focus the mind in meditation, and serve as a spiritual reminder or wearable sacred object.
Hold the mala in your right hand (or left, depending on tradition). Start with the bead next to the guru bead. Recite your mantra once per bead. Do not cross over the guru bead—flip the mala and continue.
108 is considered sacred in many traditions. It represents spiritual completeness, the 108 human desires, or 108 energy lines in yogic philosophy.
A Bodhichitta Mala, often called a Bodhi Seed Mala, is a prayer bead string made from the seeds of the Bodhi tree — the tree under which Buddha attained enlightenment. It symbolizes awakening, wisdom, and the path to enlightenment.
