Certainly! When buying wholesale handmade items for the holiday season, it's important to plan ahead and consider various factors to ensure a smooth and successful purchasing process. Here are Some tips to help you with your wholesale handmade items buying:
Start Early:
Begin your wholesale ordering process several months ahead of the holiday season to allow ample time for production, shipping, and any unexpected delays.
Check Production Times:
Understand the production times of the handmade items you're ordering. Handmade products often require more time, so factor this into your timeline.
Negotiate Terms:
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and any other relevant terms with Us. Consider ordering in larger quantities for potential bulk discounts.
Customization:
If you plan to customize the items (e.g., branding, special packaging), confirm this with the supplier and allow extra time for these modifications.
Review Samples:
Request samples of the handmade items before placing a large order. This allows you to assess the quality and craftsmanship of the products.
The shipment fee that you organized is added to your total order fee. Your total order cost contains total order fee + shipment cost. (This section validated, if the shipment firm which we have agreed to service to honourable customer , choose.)
Shipping Cost & Information
Shipment cost depends upon the size of orders, time frame of delivery and mode of shipment. All of our shipping quotes include documentation fees, local handling , packing & stuffing fees and all other local charges levied in the packing and delivery to your Country. We are offering different types and condition for shipment.
Delivery time & process
The entire time frame for order delivery is divided into two aspects:
Processing time : The time it takes to prepare your item(s) to ship from our warehouse. This includes preparing your items, performing quality checks, and packing for shipment.
Shipping Time : The time for your item(s) to travel from our warehouse to your destination.
Please note: Total Delivery Time = Processing Time + Shipping Time
PROCESSING At Creative Hand Nepal we value each and every single customer. Our top priority is making sure the items get delivered to our customer as soon as possible. It normally takes 15-25 business days for us to process your order from the date that it is placed. Please note that holidays & weekends are not included.
SHIPPING Once the order is prepared well and leave our warehouse. The date of receipt is depended on the shipping method you choose .
To work out your shipping cost simply add your items to your cart, fill out your shipping address, and preferred shipping method. Cost will vary depending on your order total and the shipping method you choose.
- Less than 70 kg ( Courier )
- More than 70 kg To 300 kg ( Normally Air Cargo )
- More than 300 kg ( Air or SEA CARGO )
There are three shipping methods from Nepal.Shipment could be arranged through Air cargo, Sea Cargo, and UPS, DHL,TNT, FEDEX , ARAMEX even as requested.

Fast shipment
If your shipment is very urgent, you can use some express courier services like FEDEX, DHL, UPS, TNT or ARAMEX This is the fastest way to ship goods, door-to-door, but is quiet expensive. It's also the solution we generally use for jewelry order.
Air Cargo
Air Freight offers an alternative for shipping items weighing 70 kg and above and measured more than 1.5 meters in length. Price wise, it is much more economical than Dhl, Fedex, Tnt, Skynet or UPS. items above 70kg. However, It is slower than Dhl, Fedex, Tnt, Skynet or UPS services, normally it's take a 7 to 12 days from Nepal to reach most of the countries in the world . But you can send combination orders with numerous bulky items, which make it impossible or too costly to send either by Dhl, Fedex, Tnt, Skynet or UPS. The buyer pays per kegs or per volumetric kegs. (Depends which one is the heaviest). Minimum 70 kilos.
Note: Shipping can be organized through various air lines. The goods has to be picked by you only from your nearest air port and you yourself has to handle the custom procedures.
Sea Cargo Cost & Information
For the least expensive but slowest shipping option, sea freight will be the choice for bulky and extremely heavy products. Choose to send by sea freight only if you are looking for the cheapest mean where time is not a consideration at all and the order is too bulky or heavy to be send by either Air Freight , Dhl, Fedex, Tnt, Skynet or UPS. Cost of sea Cargo depends on the shipping destination and volume or quantity of the shipment, All of our shipping quotes include documentation fees, local handling & trucking fees, packing & stuffing fees, port loading fees and all other local charges levied in the packing and delivery of your container to the port. D.D.C. fees (Document & Destination Charge) levied by the port of destination are not included. Some International ports charge a D.D.C. fee upon the arrival and handling of your shipment in your local port. Please do check with your customs department for more information on D.D.C. charges.
- Land/Sea Cargo = Land/Sea Cargo from Kathmandu to any destination of the world via Nepal Border to Kolkata/Haldia, Port India. It can offer services needed for Exports Inland Transportation, Custom Clearance and seaport-to-seaport delivery. It takes 45-60 days depending on the destination.
- FCL (Full Container Load) :That means that buyers will pay for a fix price for a 20 or 40 foot container, whatever he will put inside.
- LCL (Less than Container Load): That means that the buyer cannot fill a full container, in this case, the shipping company charge per cubic meter. The container will only be ship, when the container will be full, with other cargo's customers.
- Shipping Documents: The Bill of Lading is the most important document without it the container cannot be claimed. It contains important data such as container's number; seal number; bill of lading's number; etc. It is mandatory and the cost is included in the Shipping expenses.
- Packing List: The Packing List contains the complete list of all the pieces loaded inside the container, the total number of pieces and the total number of cartons (or cases) plus the volume measures (in cubic meters). The totals must coincide with the ones printed on the Bill of Lading and the Invoice. It is mandatory and the cost is included in the Shipping expenses.
- Invoice : The Invoice contains the prices of each single piece and the total value of the container's goods. Import taxes, VAT, etc. are calculated according to such figures. It is mandatory and the cost is included in the Shipping expenses.
- Fumigation: The Fumigation/Disinfection Certificate certify that the goods contained inside the container have been fumigated/ disinfected against insects, fungi or any other kind of parasite that could be carried within the wooden material. In some countries is not mandatory; costs are different depending on the quantity of goods to be disinfected and are not included in the Shipping expenses.
- Insurance: We strongly recommend insurance on Sear Cargo orders. We are NOT responsible for lost or damaged orders caused by the shipping companies.Note : Shipping can be organized through various shipping companies. The goods has to be picked by you only from your nearest Sea port and you yourself has to handle the custom procedures.
Taxes:
Every country imposes its own taxes, duties and other administrative fees. Please note that Creative Hand Nepal is not responsible for any import fees or duties on international orders. To calculate import costs, please contact your country's Customs office directly. We are not responsible for delayed orders held by customs in the buyer's country.
